The Calling Is Free

A calling just like your God given gifts and talents is free. You did nothing to deserve it- you have it because you simply exist. What is costly and demanding is following your calling or developing your gifts and talents.

Every person has a calling to do or to be something. Many of us never follow our calling or rather chase our wildest dreams. This is very unfortunate because we bury our talents/gifts and compromise - we keep procrastinating until we ultimately die.

Each person who has responded to their calling in life has undergone a distinct journey. This procedure is not an easy one but a rough route to better. We deprive the world of better experiences when we reject our calling and accept less. We are deprived of the magnificence that exists inside our families, nations, and society as a whole. The desire to live life to the utmost that burns inside us must be let loose. We have to personally promise ourselves that we will experience life as if it were a stage, which is the world in which we exist.

Development and growth is challenging but it is the preferred option as opposed to stagnation and being under-developed. When we aim low and live a meaningless life we ultimately kill the fire within us and go to an "earlier grave".My philosophy is that we must fight a good fight of faith - venturing out on a unique journey in persuit of self expression - living as guided by our calling which comes from God. This is purpose driven living.

Many people gave up on persuing that which they have been called for because of the fear of failure and embarrassment. I have observed that when we prioritize money we are distracted from our calling & purpose. We were not designed to work for money but to live purpose-fully - but money has overtaken calling. My point is not to say we must be unemployed and hungry but that we must not be so distracted by money that we completely neglect our purpose.

It is easier to support your child when they want to be a medical doctor - because of Societal pressures and Societal ranks than to support your child who wants to be a dancer -because this is what they have been "called" to do. [THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING A MEDICAL DOCTOR IF THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED FOR NOT AS A MEANS OF SURVIVAL AND MAKING MONEY]

I know there is a cost for living according to your calling but there is a greater cost of neglecting your calling.
