"Time As A Continuum"

was on  Youtube , looking for content to elevate me and transform me when i stumbled upon it...

A short clip from one of Vusi Thembekwayo 's interviews where he was talking about how he is learning to see time as a continuum because many are times when we forget that this moment is not all there is but simply a "moment" in time. We get so caught up in the heat of the moment, forgetting that this moment is not all there is.

When we go through hard times or experience pain, we are so caught up in that feeling /emotion that we forget that this  is just a moment in time and it is bound to come to an end at some point. When this moment comes to an end, another moment will exist, this is not all there is to your life..

Even when we go through good times, we find ourselves caught up in that moment of joy and happiness, that we forget that this is just a moment in time and not all there is to life. What an intriguing thought this is, it suggests that we are at all times conscious of the fact that time is a continuous thing, not constant or permanent. At this very moment as I write these words, the time  is 15:10, just another moment in time.A few seconds from now the time will be 15:11, time is definitely a continuum and is ever changing.

From seconds to days, decades and centuries time is always changing in a continuous process. As the change of time continues to take place, situations and opinions will change, people and circumstances will change & that is all I want to remind you today.

Do not get caught up in the intensity of this moment that it consumes you completely because before this moment /circumstance another moment existed and after this one another one will have to Come into play.  I am in agreement with Vusi Thembekwayo, everything has a beginning and an end, no matter how hard or easy it is, it will end sooner or later.

Many of us end up making life altering desicions because we are caught in the heat of the moment, whether you are over the moon or feeling shattered at this moment, remember this is not all there is. Whatever state you are in or condition, remember this too shall pass and something else will always come up. We may not know ecxatly what the future has in store for us but I know it definitely has a bit  of something old, something new, something challenging and something unexpected and all we can do is wait for it to unfold.

Time is a continuum, ever changing, ever-evolving and everything has a beginning and an end, just like life itself, if it began it has to end at some point, that is just the process.

Sending blessings to Mr Thembekwayo, continue to inspire us.
