One Dimensional Religious Thinking (The Fixed Mindset)

Most people, I suppose, are now aware that the quality of one's ideas dictates the quality of one's life. This means that if you can change your thinking, you can change your life.

Most of us are rigid in our thinking, in the sense that we have made up our minds and refuse to question new data and reach new conclusions on a variety of themes.People with a fixed mindset Concrete Beliefs feel that their brains, talents, and personalities are fixed attributes that cannot be developed. They believe that humans are born with a specific amount of talent (or special capabilities) that cannot be improved with time.

This way of thinking is at the root of all stagnation because how can your life change if your thoughts stay the same? All philosophers, teachers, and even religious experts agree that we become what we think about. Many people believe they are disadvantaged, and they continue to verbalise and preach this negative gospel to anyone who will listen. Eventually, they paralyse themselves by committing what I call "Mental Suicide."

People who hold this mindset believe that they are everything they can be.Limiting themselves by heavily referencing their prior experiences, unable to recognise that there is more in themselves and others.I've heard several females declare "men are dogs" after having horrible experiences with a few individual males. As a result, this "philosophy" portrays every male as a "domesticated wild animal" devoid of manners and morality, which is not the truth.

Because of their fixed attitude, the Pharisees in the Bible were unable to acknowledge Jesus.I've wondered on numerous occasions how the instructors of God's law failed to acknowledge his son.Several prophecies foreshadowed the birth of Jesus Christ;“The Lord says, ‘Bethlehem, you might not be an important town in the nation of Judah. But out of you will come a ruler over Israel for me. His family line goes back to the early years of your nation.  It goes all the way back to days of long ago'” (Micah 5:2).

They expected him to arrive as a powerful monarch, but instead he appeared as a lowly servant born in a manger. They anticipated that he would be born into a heroic family in a royal palace, possessing a commanding aspect and heroic demeanour. They also anticipated that he would develop into a great warrior like David and lead His people in driving the Romans out of Israel, freeing them from Roman rule.

My argument is that, in order to recognise that there is always more to learn and find, we need to embrace a development mentality. We cannot confine ourselves to where we are at this moment since, by divine design, we must change along with the world. There has been a great deal of destruction in the world as a result of the widespread One Dimensional Religious Thinking.
