Become A Good Reader

One book can change your life, if only you will read it and apply the concepts written. Many great people who lived in the past, wrote their experiences and formulas down as a way to preserve what they had learnt or discoverd.

People who are "good readers" set themselves apart from the rest who never pick up a book and learn about how to manage their finances better or how to build functional relationships. Jim Rohn once said "one  book might save you five years".Reading enables us to learn from other people's experience, research or philosophy. The question is who wouldn't like to save five years of pain and defeat by picking up "Rich Dad Poor Dead" and applying what Robert Kiyosaki shared in his powerful writing?

The vast majority of people(especially African people) have a phobia of reading. There is an "old joke" that says if you want to hide money from a black person, put it in a book.The "assumption" is that the last thing an African person will do is open a book .

This joke is no longer funny to me, because; 

1.I understand the power of information and how it can be leveraged and I also understand that we are disadvantaged because we are not well informed. Bishop Joshua Maponga once said "He who controls what you read, controls what you think".

Almost everything written in this book is available in different form or format in another book, this means that this is not just something I am making up, it is based on decades of research, study and experimentation. What I write is my experience coupled with the experiences of many other people who have inspired me to write my own book. This is what I call the Flow of inspiration.

A Transformed Mind

Many of us are rigid in thought hence we are stagnant in life. The good news is that we have the ability to change our minds - our thought patterns (perceptions, beliefs..) One of my prayers these days is "God transform my mind". That is because i am well aware that if my mind is transformed, my life will be transformed. Our thoughts are often revealed in our actions.
