Elevate Your Conversation

Elevation changes perspective. 

Your speech is s reflection of your thought or opinion. Can you agree that every word you speak is as a reflection of what you are thinking?The Bible states that out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks. Whatever we think about in our minds (Concious) will be impressed on our hearts (subconscious ).

1.Whenever you speak about a sad experience, it is because you are thinking about a sad experience .

Examples below

(a) The pastor speaking about a Jesus that can save anybody, is thinking about a Jesus  that can save anybody.

(b) The doctor speaking about how tired she is after surgery, is thinking about how tired she is after surgery.

People reveal their thoughts in their words and words create our world.

My own biased analysis of the situation leads me to believe that in order to elevate our conversation, we must first lift our thoughts. Thoughts are based on frequencies , just like radio sets and cellphones work. In order for me to elevate my thoughts and therefor my speech, I must change the frequency of my thoughts (Therefor the type of content I consume). 

My belief is that we are vessels and this means that ;

1.We are containers (in a psychological sense) 

We are able to learn through repetitive learning and deliberate study we can master anything, this is in our divine design . 

2.We are mediums 

If I had been born in China, I would be fluent in Chinese and familiar with the culture and traditions. This means we are able to learn from observation (e.g listening, watching). I am a medium of all the things I have learnt (e.g You are able to read this because you learnt how to, over a long period of systemic consistent study of the English Language). 

Our conversation then is clearly as a result of our conditioning, environment and associations.This is why an associate of fools is highly likely to be a fool themselves. 

Change the quality of your conversation and your whole life will become different. Life is full of variables and just one different variable begins a chain of change that will soon be visible externally. Our conversation determines not only our attitude but also our altitude. An elevated conversation automatically upgrades your life. The question is are you happy with your life or are you desperate for an upgrade? 

Phillipians 3:20 reads as follows ;For our conversation is in heaven, from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. (KJV) 

The word conversation here is interchangeably used with the word "citizenship" in other versions.This to me means that your citizenship in the spirit is where your conversation is. So if your conversation is about pain, failure and the regular mention of how life is unfair that is where your citizenship is.Thought (unspoken word) is creative, be careful what you think(speak) about.Monitor your conversations and direct them towards your passions, beliefs and deepest desires. When you speak you tell the world who you are. When you speak you are creating.

A Transformed Mind

Many of us are rigid in thought hence we are stagnant in life. The good news is that we have the ability to change our minds - our thought patterns (perceptions, beliefs..) One of my prayers these days is "God transform my mind". That is because i am well aware that if my mind is transformed, my life will be transformed. Our thoughts are often revealed in our actions.
