Happiness Is Not For Sale

Money can buy you anything but happiness (unless your happiness has a price tag) . Many are times I have bought stuff thinking the acquisition would make me happy not realizing that being happy is a desicion(not a new car or sneakers). 

We use money to buy objects and products /services.My argument is that our lives revolve around money, we go to school to learn just so we make money. One of the biggest mistakes one can make is to think having money opens doors to happiness when all it does is enable you to buy materials and pay for services (Happiness is neither a material or a service). 

If you can be happy with no money, you can be happy with one billion emalangeni.

1.Happiness is internal. This is to say that if your happiness is rooted externally, it will not last, for people and circumstances will always change. 

So if you are happy because someone said you are the most beautiful girl in the world, you will be angry when another person comes and says you are the ugliest girl in the world... 

2.Happiness is in the "Now", meaning that you cannot be happy in the future but happy now and nothing external can change an unhappy person because as I stated above "Happiness is internal" 

3.Happiness is not about circumstances, it is a choice. 

I have heard many individuals say things like "I will be happy when I make one million" or "I will be when I buy a house". Today I am here to discourage you from postponing happiness and thinking that it is to be found in things (things bought with money). 

Why would a wealthy (rich) person commit suicide if money buys happiness?

I hope you realize that money is just a paper, a very powerful & influential paper.We need money to be able to buy things but remember that happiness is not for sale. This is not to say having money will not improve your mood to some extent but true happiness cannot be found in things. If your happiness is as a result of financial freedom then if that freedom is lost so will your happiness. 

1.Being Rich is not the master key to everything (happiness, joy, peace, fulfillment) but it can buy you a Ferrari or a pair Dolce & Gabbana jeans. 

2.Happiness is a mindest not a bank notification. 

3.The happiest people are the positive people not the ones with money. 

4.People who do what they love are happier than those who hate their jobs /work. Many people are angry and depressed because they spend most of their time doing jobs they hate, just so they make money. You can have money and still be depressed if you are not doing the things you know you are called to do. 

Happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment.

Money can fill your wallet and you can still be unfulfilled because you know at your core that money cannot buy the things that really matter. 

You cannot buy wisdom 

You cannot buy your way into heaven. 

You cannot buy true respect 

You cannot buy morals & ethics 

You cannot buy happiness

A Transformed Mind

Many of us are rigid in thought hence we are stagnant in life. The good news is that we have the ability to change our minds - our thought patterns (perceptions, beliefs..)
