What is capability ?

The power of doing things .

All of us are capable of doing something, we have the power to do unlimited things and part-take in many activities. There is truly no limit to what men can do. 

The Wright brothers did the unimaginable in their generation and they left indelible marks on the world. The invention of the aeroplane and air transportation system changed the world drastically. I wonder what the people were saying to them ;maybe they even thought they were straight out insane? Today what they did has become normal to us, that we are blind to the complexities behind getting the "Flying Machine" off the ground. 

I mention the Wright brother's because they defied they odds and believed they could do it so they somehow did it. We have the very same potential to do the unimaginable because there is no limit to our capabilities. People have continued to push the limits of what is "possible" and you can do it too.. If you want to ofcourse. The human will is very powerful.. 

History will detail how many men tapped into their unlimited supply of potential and influenced the world forever. Think about a world without the discovery of fire.. Realize that a world like that once existed way before our current time. The discovery of fire also shaped the world and led to many improvements in lifestyle and provided heat which in turn produced energy. Imagine if the pioneers who discovered fire did not utilize their potential and died with it, would the world be the same? 

We are all just as capable but first we must believe in ourselves and believe we have something to offer the world. The late Dr Myles Munroe spoke many times about how we were created to have dominion over "things" in the environment. You can do anything you want to do with a tree and it cannot do anything to you. The idea simply  is that we can mold a pot out of clay but clay cannot mold us. In the same way we have dominion without limit over all "Things" because of our potential. 

God never gave us paper but he did give us trees, and out of the trees someone in China decided they could somehow make paper. The potential of humans is evident all over the world and should be your reference if you ever doubt your capabilities. The world is full of resources and possibilities but it is up to us to make things happen.

I know that you may not understand why I keep mentioning people who did great things and then suggesting that you can do it because they did it...The answer is because I believe in you and "everything everybody knows they learnt and you can learn it too". Also an important note to make is that belief shape performance and helps us move from imagination to actualization. I cannot "force feed" you the conviction but I believe we all know that we are capable of much much more. You have the potential to be anything you want and I hope you tap into it and reach for your wildest dreams. 

Enhance the lives of people by using your unlimited supply of potential. Do not let potential lie dormant.James Allen in his book (As A Man Thinketh) wrote the following profound statement"Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves ;they therefore remain bound".Your life can change if you are willing to change, and willing to use more and more of your potential whilst you can...

A Transformed Mind

Many of us are rigid in thought hence we are stagnant in life. The good news is that we have the ability to change our minds - our thought patterns (perceptions, beliefs..) One of my prayers these days is "God transform my mind". That is because i am well aware that if my mind is transformed, my life will be transformed. Our thoughts are often revealed in our actions.
