Tested To Be Trusted

I believe that everything and Everyone will Be Tested, nothing and no one is exempt from this.

(examples to further theorize concept)

1.A car is tested, to see if it can transport people from point A to B successfully.

2.People are tested to see if they will keep their word.

3.Structures & buildings are tested daily to examine if they still perform their functions. (buildings give us shelter, Roads give us a transportation platform..)

All I aim to point out to is that life is a series of tests that come in many shapes and forms. We have options and preferences and "types".. We make choices that then produce certain results, every desicion has primary, secondary and tertiary effects or outcomes(A story for another day)

I have heard many successful individuals who came from undesirable backgrounds  detail how they felt their situation was not a  "life sentence" but a simple test. They realised that they had options and believed that by making a set of different desicions they could get to their desired end.Every situation is a test, so is every desicion and they will yield results.

If every circumstance is a test that comes disguised as a situation then we must begin to make better desicions to get better results. If a car in production is tested and it breaks down, or doesn't peform as wanted, they diagnose the car to find the fault and then they make necessary changes and improvements.. What I am saying is if you keep finding yourself in the same undesired situation you must diagnose and improve. Then you will have a better "grade" for the "test". (People who improve are Trusted...)

Our character is tested daily, we all say we are honest but we fail the "honesty test" everyday. The only two options are the Truth or the Lie.. Every test precedes results.. so in order to trust you, we must first test if what you say is true or not. Simple as that.. You know why I trust God? Because his word and his promises are true.. If your promises and your word were true, people would trust you.

God uses situations to test us, he gave us life, gifts and talents to see what we would do with what we have been given... We are all blessed to be alive but very few even realise there is blessing in that...We all have gifts but very few utilize them, but are first in line to criticize those using their gifts. We are all talented but we spend too much time wasting talent, because if you don't use your talent you are wasting it.

In the Bible, God tested the faith of Abraham numerous times but one test stood out for me.Genesis 22 : 1- 2 reads as follows :

After these things God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham" And he said, "Here I am". He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as burnt offering on the mountains that I will show you"

He was tested, to be trusted.. If you continue reading the chapter, he got a divine blessing because of how he "handled" the test. Your faith will also be tested daily, maybe not in the same way as Abraham but trust and believe you will be tested.

Our motives are always being tested .. I mean we all want to be rich but who is really working towards being rich? The test comes everyday and we could begin to produce different outcomes if we change our systems..We all want something but do we deserve it? If you want it, go and get it.. Actions yield results. If you act like a billionaire, and do what they do, and think how they think, you will become a billionaire.If you act like a poverty stiken person, and think how they think and do what they do, you will be poor. The test is in how you act, think and move..

Everything and Everyone will Be Tested.
Diamonds are TESTED to check if they are genuine.
Steel is tested to find out if it is durable.
Metals are tested to see if they can conduct electricity.
Doctors are tested to make sure they can save a life.
Bus drivers are tested to ensure they know how to drive a bus.
Chefs are tested make sure....

A Transformed Mind

Many of us are rigid in thought hence we are stagnant in life. The good news is that we have the ability to change our minds - our thought patterns (perceptions, beliefs..) One of my prayers these days is "God transform my mind". That is because i am well aware that if my mind is transformed, my life will be transformed. Our thoughts are often revealed in our actions.
