The Power Of This Moment

I recently started re-reading a book by Ekhart Tolle titled The Power Of Now, it is all about being and living in this moment. Most times we live in the past or the future that we completely miss the most important thing which is this moment.

I will not dwell much on the book I claim to now be reading for the second time but I want to remind you that all we really have is this moment. If we want to change it has to happen now otherwise it may never really happen because no other moment is promised to you except for this one. It matters not who you were yesterday but you can choose now, at this moment to be a changed human being.

When tomorrow comes its going to come in the Now, everyday may seem to be the same to some because all days are 24 hrs but every day is a new opportunity and in every day are a million magical moments. What a wonderful gift, this moment is. The greater gift is the choice of doing whatever you will with your time (moments).

Today at this very moment you can decide to be anything you want, nobody will stop you. That is the power of a moment can change your life, it can move you into a different dimension. Take me for example at a certain moment I made a a desicion to start a blog, this same blog you are reading right now, I made a desicion and I stuck with it. All it took for me was to realize the Power of a moment.

This blog post is almost contrary to my previous post titled "Time As A Continuum", in this post I want to highlight the importance of a single moment in time. All it takes is a moment for you to change your life, all it takes is a desicions. Be conscious of the power of every single moment, in the end what you choose to do with all this little, separate moments is what controls where you will end up.

Martin Luther King, Ghandi, Jomo Kenyatta and many more legends who changed the world utilized the power of a moment, they made desicions in a certain point in time that would change the world and their respective communities forever.

In this moment realize there is power. Great power, tap into it and utilize it fully to not only change your life but to influence positive change in others. There is a book by John C. Maxwell Titled Becoming A People's Person and in that book there is a chapter titled Demonstrate what you want to instill. Use every moment to demonstrate actions that you wish others were engaged in.

If you want to influence, use this moment, If you want to fight for a dream and break  generational curses use this moment.If you want to become a negative person use this moment to cultivate your negativity even though it will kill you. Because this moment, right here, right now is all we have. If we want to see change we must be the change. Whatever you want, is yours. I wish you could see my life and see what I have chosen to do with all these moments God has blessed me with.

Again I would like to point out that this  blog post is contrary to the last one titled "Time As A Continuum", this is done very deliberately because all I aim to do is share different ideas with you. It is up to you to pick what you agree with, at this moment. There is power in this moment.

In essence this moment is all there is and it is all we have. Today the day is Tuesday the 12th of April 2022, another moment in time which will never exist again,utilize it fully. There is something else I feel a deep urge to talk about, I feel like talking about the power in deciding because sometimes it's the failure to make a desicion and stick with it no matter the circumstances that keeps us stuck, but maybe I will dedicate the next blog post to this.

A Transformed Mind

Many of us are rigid in thought hence we are stagnant in life. The good news is that we have the ability to change our minds - our thought patterns (perceptions, beliefs..) One of my prayers these days is "God transform my mind". That is because i am well aware that if my mind is transformed, my life will be transformed. Our thoughts are often revealed in our actions.
