A Divinely Orchestrated Encounter
According to what you read in Ephesians 1:4-6, you were "chosen" by God before the universe was made or created. This indicates that before the earth existed, you existed in the spiritual realm.
In the text I am referring to above, the word "choose" is translated as "eklegomai," which means "to pick out, choose out a person or thing" in Greek.Because you are "pre-destined," God made a decision about you before you ever existed in the physical world, and that decision is carried out in the physical realm every day of your life.
If you really get what this revelational truth means for you, it should fill you with joy and serenity.Nothing in this universe just happens because God is a master planner and all of his creation follows a predetermined plan.
Many of us experience doubts about whether God truly has a purpose for our lives, which leads to feelings of depression and anger, bitterness, and loss of faith.I want you to know that none of the interactions you have had have happened by accident.Because he is the beginning and the end, all-knowing, and all-powerful, God is not random or haphazard.
Before there is a visible manifestation, you already embody your true nature.Although David was a king before he was even born, our reliance on sensory experience to analyse information and draw judgements makes it appear otherwise.David's physical kingship was partly influenced by his fight with Goliath and many other divinely orchestrated moments, but in realm of the Godhead, David had already attained kinghood before he was even born.Jesus was born in a manger not in a palace but he was already the King of all Kings even though it did not seem so in the Physical realm. You are already a living testament to the perfect will of the living God.
Every interaction you have is intended to happen, so rather than whining and worrying, I would advise you to trust and have faith that God has a plan that is greater than anything you could have imagined. This is not to say that you should give up and lack ambition for better things; rather, it is to say that we ought to incorporate our ambition with patience and faith.
David's journey to the throne was paved with numerous encounters. The phrase "It is the rubble of your past that is going to become the foundation of your future" from Pastor Michael Phillips aptly captures what I am attempting to convey.Never undervalue experience, but keep in mind that it is essential to your journey with God.The billions of interactions you have had contain the fundamental elements of your mindset and attitude.Your delight and all of the suffering you have gone through are combined to take you to a better place.
That being said, God has prepared things for people who love him, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived."-1 Corinthians 2:9
Keep loving God and have faith that he has planned the unthinkable for you.He is considering you!
