The Law of Compesation

The law of compensation states that you will always be compensated for your efforts and for your contribution, whatever it is, however much or however little. In essence this means that if i am not happy with my current rewards (compensation) i can simply increase my service either by quantity or quality.

In essence this law correlates with the law of sowing and reaping, According to Bob Proctor "This Law clearly states the amount of money you earn will always be in exact ratio to…

1.The need for what you do.

People who are paying you for products or services put a certain measurable value on your contribution. If there’s a great need for what you do, you are valued higher than if there’s not much of a need.

    2.Your ability to do it.

When you work in a field where there is a tremendous need, AND you become very good at addressing or filling that need, your compensation will increase.

3.The difficulty there will be in replacing you."

If there are five equally qualified and motivated people waiting for you to quit your job so that they can do your job equally well, you have very low leverage in negotiating a good or better salary.

If you are not earning the amount of money you desire or getting the rewards you want, you must make reference to the list above in order to begin a chain reaction of change.

The thing with laws is they apply anywhere at anytime, take the law of gravity for instance..

Let us use Rihanna as an example to the operations of this law ;

1.Is there a need for what she does?

     YES

2.Does she have the ability to do it?

     YES

3.Is there any difficulty in replacing her?

    ABSOLUTELY 100%

The vast majority of us are not underpaid because our careers (service, calling, purpose) are not neccesary/in high demand but because of our ability in doing our jobs and the difficulty in replacing us. Take Christiano Ronaldo for instance, he is one of the highest paid (compensated) sport's personalities of all time because of the need for what he, his ability to do it and difficulty in replacing him.

You need to become ecxellent at what you do in order to earn a lot, realize that wherever there is a great need there is a lot of money to be made. If the intent is to improve output (income earned) you must be willing to improve yourself (skill, knowledge, articulation, presentation...). Your strategy must be centred around getting better at what you do in order to get the compensation you desire. This is why i study the great philosopher's, writers, and leaders ; my aim is to continually get better with time. I absorb their content, process it, understand it and finally share it with others with the hope of bringing some sort of revelation (enlightenment).

Study the world and you will realise that this is the one of the laws that govern how we live and relate with each other.
