The Unknown
In most cases we fear the unknown, we prefer what we are familiar with. This is the reason many of us find ourselves stuck in a loop, never getting out of our comfort zone.
Psychologists say that most of our thoughts and actions are repeat actions, for the fear of the unknown has trapped us.When last did you think a new thought or did something out of the ordinary.?
This is why people who had abusive fathers usually stick with abusive partners for love to them is associated with violence. This is why those that are born poor usually die poor and those born rich die rich because both groups of people fear the unknown.
You may be thinking it would be difficult to fear wealth and prefer to be stuck in poverty but it is just as simple as ABC.. Those stuck in poverty want money but they fear the unknown and their subconscious is fully aware that to be wealthy they have to drop their old actions, thoughts and philosophies. When we are a scared of the next level because we prefer the devil we know than the one we do not, we rob ourselves of our bright future that awaits us.
The psychological word for fear of the unknown is “xenophobia.” In modern-day , the word has evolved to mean the fear of strangers or foreigners but its core meaning is much broader. It includes anything or anyone that’s unfamiliar or unknown.For some of us we fear stepping back & stepping forward so we just settle for stagnation and we stop striving for change & development.
Psychologist go on to state that the are effects (symptoms) on the body caused by the fear of the unknown, some of them are :
1.fast heart rate
2.quick, shallow breathing
3.tense muscles
4.feelings of weakness
5.blood glucose (sugar) spikes
How can we begin to overcome the fear of the unknown?

3.Receive Christ
4.Have Faith at all times
5.Journal
6.Meditate
7.Point out your core fears & their causes
8.Embrace change
It is not good for men to fear, “Fear not!” is the one of the most repeated commands in the Bible. In fact theologians states that FEAR NOT appears 365 times in the Holy Book .One “Fear not” for every day of the year. God did not intend for us to go a single day without hearing his word of comfort: “Fear not!”
The fear of the unknown has taken over many of our lives, the enemy is happy when we live in a constant state of fear for this hinders us from living our lives to the fullest.
