Be Fruitful

 Fruits come from trees, trees come from seeds...

What seeds are you sowing in the fertile grounds of your life today?

When you eat an apple, do you ever think about the process that made that FRUIT to be? 

Nothing just happens, there is always effort  behind something but unfortunately we usually focus on the results not the actions that precede the results. What we see is the output and not the input, this leads to us just assuming it just happened.. When in fact someone made it happen. 

When we see a person driving a Lamborghini we see the car and not the process the person had to go through to get to a point where they could afford to own a Lamborghini . I want to share a truism with you ;We all want the Lambo but we DON'T want the process the person had to go through, in other words we all want to reap fruit but we do not want to sow. This is a recipe for disaster and an "application" (an application which will be approved by the way)for depression. 

God never made objects or infrastructure, he just made men and men made things. Look at the world around you today and you will realize that men have been fruitful for a very long time. Nobody can deny the truth that we are creative beings, the evidence is all around us. 

My next question then is: what evidence of your existence will you live behind in this world when you die? 

Most of us will just die and that will just be it, we will be dead and forgotten because we failed to be fruitful even though we were given time and blessed with an unlimited supply of skills, gifts and talents. If you are alive today you have something to do, you are not here to be a spectator and watch others. 

The parable of talents in the Bible should be a reminder to us that we must do something with what we have been given. Also it is not about how much you have but what you do with it. You could have all the talent in the world but if you don't use it, you won't be fruitful. You could have the highest IQ in the world but if you don't utilize it you won't be fruitful. 

Today I want you to plant something!! 

There is a season of planting and a season of reaping, if you don't use the seeds you have been given you won't produce any fruit. Your season of sowing  naturally schedules a season of reaping. 

God is a creator that means we are creative beings, do something, build something, plant something.As I mentioned earlier that God never made the roads or cars.... But he made heaven and earth. The earth is our creative space, our planting space. From a tree, a person made a table, that is the essence of being fruitful and being a creator. 

I have met many people who do not want to attempt anything for they fear something.. FAILURE. So they decide that they will just sit down, do nothing, be nothing and keep talking themselves down. The "world" encourages this way of living , this is why the Cemetery is the wealthiest place in the world for many people died with dreams and ideas . Do not die with your seeds of greatness... 

Every problem you face is meant to activate your creativity, to make you think out of the box, to make you fruitful.Men made cars because they had a problem, moving from Point A to Point B took way too long by foot. Their problem activated their creativity and led them to fruitfulness. They also made structures and buildings because of the harshness/dangers of having no shelter to protect us from natural elements. What are you doing today to schedule your season of plenty? 

If you are not dead you have to do something, actually I mean you have something to do. You have a generation to impact. Many of us have chosen to die whilst we are still alive because we fail to be fruitful. 

Millions of People have solved problems and they became fruitful, today we are enjoying the fruits of their labour. Fruitful people are assets to their family, society and the world at large. But remember fruits don't just fall from the sky but they come from trees and trees come from seeds. 

I want to remind you that we are full of potential and that we can plant anything we want at anytime. Nobody can stop us but we can limit ourselves by falling to realize that we have open access to whatever we want. We all have the same muscles in our bodies as a body builder but our muscles are not developed to that level because we do not work them hard enough. This just proves my point which is, we all have open access to it all but we also have to do our part. 

The fact that God gave you hands doesn't mean they are just for aesthetics, those hands have a purpose... The fact that God gave you eyes, means he wanted you to see something and then do something about it..The mind God gave you has a purpose, use it, feed it, come up with ideas and solutions.. Look to nature to understand how the world works. If you plant something you will be fruitful, that is just the law of nature. If nothing grows, plant again and again and again, something will grow sooner or later. Be resilient and persistent. 

I am always shocked by those who sit everyday and do nothing and then have the audacity to complain when they see others being fruitful. You are playing yourself by being lazy and not putting in the work. YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN. If you want to fix the output, fix the input. If you feed your mind negativity, it will produce negativity. If you plant apple seeds there is no way you will get strawberries, NO WAY. And worse of all if you do not sow the seeds of what you want you will never , EVER reap the fruit.

A Transformed Mind

Many of us are rigid in thought hence we are stagnant in life. The good news is that we have the ability to change our minds - our thought patterns (perceptions, beliefs..)
